66 Followers1947年11月20日出生于肯萨斯州。1969年加入摇滚团James Gang，1975年12月加入老鹰合唱团，是最先发行个人专辑与拥有畅销单曲的团员。1973年Bill Szymczyk就是靠Walsh的推荐才接替原制作人Glyn Johns。Walsh刚加入时，Szymczyk还曾替他担心会影响个人演唱生涯，结果证明Walsh不仅为乐团注入了摇滚的新生命，同时Walsh个人发展亦相得益彰。1978年的专辑「But Seriously, Folks…」、单曲"Lifes Been Good"电影【都市牛郎】插曲"All Night Long"都是个人代表作，老鹰合唱团解散期间Walsh仍然有新作陆续推出。
