Tal Wilkenfeld

年轻的天才女贝司手。出生于澳洲,14岁弹吉他,16岁停止高中学业,跑去LA,17岁改弹Bass。在美国洛杉矶学习音乐两年之后,转战到纽约,迅速的在各种音乐风格中立下功名。在受到Sadowsky的赞助,经常在NAMM Show里作展示乐手,EBS也把她列入EBS Stars里（就是广告有哪些人用了EBS的产品）。在2006年的Bass Player Live中，她还有自己的Clinic（其他Clinics的乐手有Marcus Miller、Stanley Clarke、Victor Wooten、Billy Sheehan等）。 合作过的清单里有南方摇滚经典乐团Allman Brothers、鼓手Kenwood Dennard、Adam Deitch（曾任爵士吉他手John Scottfield乐团的鼓手）、Jeff Watts（曾任爵士萨克斯风手Wynton Marsalis乐团的鼓手）,吉他手Leni Stern（Mike Stern的老婆）、钢琴手Geoffrey Keezer、David Kikoski、 Russell Ferrante（老牌Fusion乐团Yellowjackets的键盘手）、歌手Susan Tedeschi等等 Tal Wilkenfeld (born in Sydney, Australia ca.1986) is an Australian bassist and former guitarist who has gained worldwide attention performing alongside some of rock and jazz music's most notable artists. In 2008, Wilkenfeld was voted "The Year's Most Exciting New Player" for the year in a Bass Player Magazine reader's choice poll. She has impressed critics and fans alike with musical achievements usually reserved for players with relatively long established careers. Wilkenfeld became a professional bassist after only three years on the instrument. In addition to her work as a sideman for many of music's legendary musicians, she has assumed the role of bandleader to her own eponymous trios, whose musicians have included Wayne Krantz, Keith Carlock, and Jeff "Tain" Watts.
