NaFF

Formed in 1998, Naff is an Indonesian music group popular for record-breaking songs like Kenalkan Aku, Sekali Lagi, Bumiku Bumimu, Nelangsa, Yang Tak and many more. Currently Naff Music group comprises four members namely Arda (vocal), Odeu (bass), Hilal (drums) and Ade (guitar). Naff is a widely popular rock band hailing from Bandung, Indonesia. Four young Indonesian men went on to form the band ‘Naff’ in 1998. Rusyaedi Makmun, who was one of the early founders of the band is also the lead vocalist and creator of songs. He further invited Odeu and Ade to play drums. The band recorded their song demos at the Kanamusik Studio in Bandung. Later Dedi, the owner of the music studio joined the band officially as a guitarist. Naff Singles, Hits & Albums Naff released their first album Terlahir in 2000, and later In 2001, Terban Tinggi their second album was released that gained huge popularity. In 2006, their fourth release Isyarat Hati was a major hit and was listed in the ‘Top Ten Albums of that year’ of the Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine. Their fourth record, which was critically well-received for its eclectic and exploratory nature, including flourishes of Minang, Isyarat Hati, hit the streets in 2006. ‘Terendap Laraku” song from their popular 3rd album NaFF in 2003 was later released as a single that was much loved by the audiences. In the same album, Naff band introduced a new member 'Hilal' as well. In 2014, Naff band signed an official recording contract with Warner Music Indonesia. Some of the popular songs by the band are Haruska, Dia Kekasihku, Nilangsa, Bumiku Bumimu are their other popular singles.
