JOOX Originals - Super Producer
JOOX proudly presents JOOX Originals - a music project series with the exclusive purpose of supporting and taking the local music scene to the next level.
The first project under the JOOX Originals banner presents Faizal Tahir as our very own Super Producer! Together with ten local artists ranging from the biggest stars to brightest upstarts, Faizal and his group of protégés will be presenting an original song each.
In this initial phase, JOOX proudly presents, the Ballad Queen herself, Dayang Nurfaizah, R&B duo FML and Sophia Liana of De Fam. Not only will they be working with Faizal in creating something new, but they will also be challenging themselves in recording a song that is not of their comfort zone. For Dayang, she will be experimenting with an upbeat rhythm with EDM elements in her song "Gerak Dulu". FML on the other hand proves their talent with their debut song that is both warm and fuzzy yet charming called "Santai". Last but not least, await the creation by Sophia Liana that injects local folk elements into her fire rhythms to spice up an already spicy track.

Sharing the spotlight of the ten artists, is the man himself, Faizal Tahir. Whilst working with several other producers, Faizal Tahir represents the glue that brings these artists together under the JOOX Originals banner. An amazing musician himself, Faizal Tahir says that his age is definitely a factor in his decision to transition over to a producing role instead of being a frontman himself. Together with JOOX, we look to create a platform for our creative young talents to prosper!
