SM엔터테인먼트 산하 댄스 뮤직 레이블 ScreaM Records(스크림 레코즈)는 프로듀서 겸 DJ P3PPER(페퍼)와 보컬리스트 The Deep(더 딥)의 싱글 'Nostalgia 2000(노스텔지아 2000)'이 30일 오후 1시 공개된다고 밝혔다.

이번 싱글 타이틀 곡 ‘Nostalgia 2000’은 유로 트랜스와 하우스 사운드가 조화를 이뤄 현대적인 스타일로 완성된 곡으로, 보컬리스트 The Deep의 몽환적인 탑라인과 반복적인 멜로디는 Nostalgia라는 키워드를 잔잔하게 풀어내, 2000년대의 향수를 재현했다. 

수록곡 'U'는 유로 트랜스 기반의 베이스라인과 리드 신스, 애시드 사운드가 절묘하게 에너지를 주고받는 곡으로, 하우스 드럼의 질감을 담아내 현대적인 감성도 더했다. 

또한 이번 싱글에는 리믹서 monotostereo(모노투스테레오)가 재해석한 'Nostalgia 2000(monotostereo Remix)'도 수록, 복고적인 느낌을 주는 원곡의 사운드를 충실히 유지하면서도, 현대 댄스뮤직의 트렌드를 과감하게 반영했다. 

더불어, 2000년대의 향수를 자극하는 음악에 맞춰 이번 앨범 커버 역시 Y2K 감성(1990년대 말·2000년대 초반 감성)을 물씬 느낄 수 있도록 제작했으며, 아티스트 P3PPER, The Deep의 독창적인 스타일을 더해 완성도를 더욱 높였다.
