在那些开放的路上，踏碎过多少理想；在那张高挂的面上，被印证了几多。 “《大地》是一个关于我叔公的故事。写的是两岸关系，大陆与台湾。说来话长，要追溯到1949年甚至更早。打败仗后国民党转移至台湾，跟随国民党到台湾的军人就这样与大陆的亲人分隔，两岸关系从此不再简单。直到1987年，台湾宣布开放容许老兵回大陆探亲，我祖父的弟弟——我叔公就有着一个这样的故事，他也是1949年就去了台湾的国民党老兵。这首歌很非主流，题材是两岸关系，其实跟香港没什么关系，却成了香港乐坛的一首金曲。 世事就是这样难以预料，虽然有人批评《大地》写得不好，我仔细再看也觉得不算很好，但流行曲就是这样，不一定是完美才可以流行，更讲求的是机缘，我对此深有体会。往后即使有自己认为写得更好的歌词，却未必能够流行起来，但《大地》就是这样红了二十几年。”《大地》填词人刘卓辉这样回忆到 最近，TEN李腾一连同PARKSON博彦朝和ROC大雕，他们合作了这首《大地remix》， 作为致敬beyond，纪念黄家驹25周年的一首改编作品，说道纪念黄家驹25周年。
