Trans Asia Resonance 2025 - A Cross-Border Co-Writing EP by Asia's Finest Artists and Japanese Creators Trans Asia Resonance 2025 is a six-track EP born from co-writing sessions between outstanding Asian artists and talented Japanese creators. The title reflects the concept of sound resonating beyond Asia, where music transcends borders and genres to create new harmonies and shared emotion. All tracks on this EP were created during a songwriting camp held as part of the international showcase festival Music Lane Festival Okinawa 2025, which took place in January 2025 in Koza, Okinawa City. Overseen by renowned Japanese producer and composer Kaz Kuwamura, the project aimed to highlight the individuality of each artist while crafting music that resonates with the Japanese market. Despite their brief time together in Okinawa, the artists and creators exchanged ideas intensively and continued discussions even after returning to their home countries, eventually completing the songs. These collaborations, with Japanese creators refining each artist's distinct voice, are a bold new step for the Asian music scene-one we believe will bring a fresh wave of inspiration. Quanzo (Taiwan) Muri×'Mugendai' -Dhira Bongs (Indonesia) 'Kokowa Kyoumo Ame' -HOA (South Korea) 'Lovers of Okinawa' -Littlefingers + Aliefia Augustine (Sunwich) (Indonesia) 'Midnight LOVER' -Strawman & Celine (Italy + Mongolia) 'this song is called Blue - Japanese Version' The participating artists are a lineup of extraordinary and highly individual talents: CHIH CHIH, Chih-Yin Kuo, who has Amis (Taiwanese Indigenous) heritage, captivates listeners with a unique rhythmic sensibility and an eclectic blend of genres. Taiwanese rapper and singer ddkogi88 is known for her dynamic stage presence and teams up with rising rapper Quanzo for a powerful collaboration. Dhira Bongs from Indonesia is a seasoned artist celebrated for her genre-blending 'explorative pop', which incorporates jazz, classic disco, and R&B. She previously performed at the Kyoto Music Expo hosted by Quruli. HOA is a four-piece band from South Korea whose vintage sound is deeply influenced by classic UK rock. Their analog vibe has earned strong support across diverse audiences. Littlefingers + Aliefia Augustine (Sunwich), both from Indonesia, bring together the electronic jazz virtuosity of Littlefingers and the charming vocals of Aliefia Augustine, lead singer of popular indie pop band Sunwich- a collaboration sure to make waves locally and beyond. Strawman & Celine, an Italy-Mongolia duo, began gaining international traction following their appearance at Music Lane Festival Okinawa in January 2024. Since then, they've performed at festivals in Mongolia, the Czech Republic, Korea, China, and more, steadily expanding their global fanbase.
