Modern Times

IU的全新常规3辑《Modern Times》于10月7日正式公开。 这是继2012年5月发行迷你专辑《20岁的春天》后时隔1年零5个月重返歌坛，耗时9个月制作的专辑囊括了摇滚、爵士、巴萨诺瓦、拉丁、民歌等多重曲风。 专辑主打歌曲《红舞鞋》改编自安徒生的童话故事《红舞鞋》，以1930年代的曲风为主调，融入古典复古元素，再加上戏剧性转变和合唱队的伴奏，营造丰富听觉效果。 新专辑中，IU借《讨厌的一天》、《Voice Mail》等2首自创歌曲与由她亲自填词的《乙的恋爱》和《等我》展现了音乐人的面貌。崔百浩(《孩子啊，陪我走走吧》)、杨姬银(《白天的梦想》)、女子组合Brown eyed girls成员Gain(《谁都有秘密》)、男子组合SHINee成员钟铉(《忧郁钟表》)等纵横各个世代的伴唱军团也引起关注。
