。重返青春的青涩哀愁，密苏里州劲旅睽违三年新作。温暖甜美宛如一场永远不会结束的浪漫夏天回忆。媲美The Shins、The Postal Service的Indie Pop之声 Someone Still Loves You, Boris Yeltsin来自美国密苏里州，团名的由来正是取自俄罗斯首任总统叶尔钦。吉他手Will Knauer、鼓手Philip Dickey以及贝斯手Tom Hembree在高中就开始一起玩音乐，上大学之后乐队成员又加入吉他手John Robert Cardwell及贝斯手Jonathan James，2005年，几个人在Will Knauer家里录制完成了备受好评的首张专辑《Broom》。乐队流畅悦耳的Breezy Pop曲风很快就被Spin音乐杂志注意到，2010年发行的专辑《Let It Sway》更邀来Death Cab for Cutie的Chris Walla操刀制作。隔了许多年之后，SSLYBY重新回到录制首张专辑《Broom》的地方录制了最新专辑《Fly By Wire》，彷佛一段向青春致敬的巡礼，整张专辑温暖甜美地像一场永远不会结束的夏天，一群孩子整天泡在一起喝啤酒、玩音乐。开场曲〈Harrison Ford〉由钢琴及弦乐带出悦耳的Electro Pop曲风。〈Lucky Young〉、〈Loretta〉有着充满阳光的鼓点和吉他声线，主唱酸甜的假音唱腔让人想拿起冲浪板立刻前往蔚蓝海岸，而抒情曲〈Bright Leaves〉则像夏日午后与恋人告别时所散发的淡淡哀愁。青春最残酷的地方是，那些所有以为永远不会结束的事，到头来都结束了，像烛光一样被捏灭了，像一件偶然的事从此不会再发生。我们唯一能做的正是听着像《Fly By Wire》这般温暖甜美的音乐，用力把那些青春的养分吸收到内心里面去。
