R&B, Hip-pop, EDM등 다양한 장르의 음악을 섭렵하며 항상 새로운 음악적 시도를 하며 대중들에게 신선함을 안기고 있는 ‘OLIVER (올리버)’가 2018년 첫 번째 리패키지 앨범[Groove Yourself]를 발표하였다. [Groove Yourself]는 ‘Supernatural’, ‘Fade’, ‘808 Hawaii’등 새로 선보이는 신곡 세곡과 Intro, Outro 그리고 2018년 상반기 ‘OLIVER (올리버)’가 발표했던 5곡을 포함하여 총 11곡으로 구성되어 있는 앨범이다. ‘Supernatural’은 Disco Sound를 바탕으로 R&B가 접목된 장르로써 펑키한 리듬과 베이스 라인이 그루비하며 신나는 곡으로 한 여자에게 사랑에 푹 빠진 남자의 마음을 담고 있는 곡이다. ‘Fade’는 다크한 느낌의 R&B 곡으로 새로운 사랑을 만나 지난 연인의 미련과 흔적을 지운다는 내용을 지녔다. ‘808 Hawaii’는 어린 시절 하와이에서 자랐던 올리버가 그 때의 추억들을 떠올리며 만든 곡으로 아일랜드 느낌을 품고 있으며 바운스가 돋보여 신나고 재밌는 곡이다. 이 외에도 지난 4월 발표했던 곡 ‘Her’을 ‘Soul Remix’ 버전으로 재탄생 시켜 수록을 하며 앨범의 짜임새를 한층 업그레이드 시켰다. 특정한 장르의 구분 없이 모든 장르에서 자신만의 음악적 색깔을 보여주겠다는 올리버의 새로운 앨범 ‘Groove Yourself’와 그의 앞으로의 음악적 행보가 더욱 기대된다. 01.
