陈法拉自2005年加入娱乐圈，在TVB拍摄多部电影视，出道短短数年，凭《有营煮妇》、《诱情转驳》和古装剧《东西宫略》挤身当家花旦之列，2012年勇闯乐坛。法拉首张专辑《美丽人生》十首新曲以抒情慢歌为主打，演绎粤语版「一半」(改编自丁噹同名作、张美贤填词)和「赎罪」(改编自梁静茹「别再為他流泪」、李敏填词)，并特别收录法拉主演的上述三部剧集的主题曲「绝配的一对」、「爱情转驳」和「缺憾美」。
