I Am The Light of the World - Blind Gary Davis

Written by：Gary Davis

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Oh you don't believe in Jesus

And not a word is said

When you come all way down to Lazarus' grave

And raise him from the dead

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

I've got fiery fingers

I've got fiery hands

And when I get up in heaven

Going to join that fiery band

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light

I am the

I am the light of this world

Oh the shower I don't know your water

Why it gonna be you're lone

Form my so then I couldn't have Jesus

And where he give me all home

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Oh

My prayer is the key of heaven

And faith unlocked the door

That's why my God gave me the key

And told me to carry it everywhere I go

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Oh

I know I've been got funny

But know that ain't no shame

But a Holy Ghost is my witness

And the angels done signed my name

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light

Just as long as I'm in this world

I am the light of this world
