Silent as the sun goes down

I pray the night will set me free

My shadows become shade

Even though the dark comes to take me away

My pulse was pounding blood enraged

What is this

I have done

The finish line within my grasp

I'm not the only one

Seconds minutes hours turn to days

So much time

I let slip away
