Step On Up

You're so much nicer than you gotta be

A star and part of Freddy's symphony

Praised for your ability

Charm and creativity (Okay)

They always liked you so much more than me

I think they'd want me, if I got a shot...

To show i'm more than just a pair of claws

Prove that I deserve applause

Practice till I'm good because

I think the band could have an open spot

You gotta step on up till the spotlight finds your face

Step on up till you have found your calling up on center stage

You got style, you got ambition, so do whatever it takes

Step on in (Hey!), step on him (Hey!), step on up (Okay!)

I think I'm finally getting over you

So can I get another W?

I'll get what I'm overdue

Pay me in exposure, too

As long as nobody discovers you

See you can hide, but you can't hide from me

I'll never say no to my destiny

You bring out the best in me

I'll say open sesame

To all the obstacles ahead of me

You gotta step on up till the spotlight finds your face

Step on up till you have found your calling up on center stage

Oh, Bonnie boy, you're such a gas, but it's my turn to play

Step on in (Hey!), step on him (Hey!), step on up (Okay!)

Out in the limelight

Everyone sees you

I think that I might just wanna be you

Having them love me just like I see them love you

If I control my destiny, I know what I must do, oh

Step on up till you fin'ly found your place

Step on up till every boy and girl is chanting out your name

Dear Freddy, it ain't personal, but you are in the way

Step on in (Hey!), step on him (Hey!), and him and him and him and him

Step on in (Hey!), step on him (Hey!), step on up (Okay!)

Thank you and goodnight
