廖国志

2007年畢業於台灣大學國際企業學系。 1992年十歲開始學習古典吉他至今，多次與多位國際吉他大師於國家音樂廳同台演出，深獲好評。現任Rosette吉他室內樂團團長、台北古典吉他合奏團客席團員。 (得獎紀錄) 1999年榮獲創世紀全國吉他大賽青少年組第一名。 1999年榮獲八十七學年度全國音樂比賽古典吉他第一名。 2000年榮獲第三屆香港國際吉他大賽第三名。 2002年榮獲台灣吉他大賽重奏組第一名。 2004年榮獲台灣國際吉他大賽第三名。 Shih-yu Liu(Jimmy Liu) was born in Taiwan. He obtained his Master’s degree from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester. In 1993, Shih-yu Liu entered the Taiwan National University of Arts with the best entry exam results, majoring in classical guitar. Excelling at this guitar training, Shih-yu often represented the university in music events, and was chosen to perform a guitar concerto with the university’s orchestra. In 1997, Shih-yu graduated first in his class, and in 1999 received a scholarship to enter the Eastman School of Music. In addition to recitals and ensembles, Shih-yu is often invited to perform together with a variety of orchestras today and presents the radio program “Sound of The Guitar” since 2009, which was nominated in "49th Taiwan National Radio Award(Gold Bell Award)" in 2014. Shih-yu was invited to play for many guitar festivals over the world, and currently teaches at the Taiwan National University of Arts, and is also the artistic director of “Taiwan International Guitar Festival & Competition.”(Since 2012) Awards: 2nd place in the “1994 Sainz de la Maza Guitar Competition.” 1st place in the “1996 National Taiwan Guitar Competition.”; Recipient of the “1996 NTAA Concerto Contest Award”. 1st place in “2002 Taiwan Guitar Duo Contest”, and 2nd place in “2002 Taiwan Guitar Solo Contest”. 2nd place in “2003 Concorso Chitarristico Internazionale, Italy.” 2nd place in “2003 Hermoupolis International Guitar Competition, Greece.” Honored with “2003 NTAA Outstanding Alumnus Award.” 2nd place in “2004 Volos International Guitar Composition Competition (Guitar Chamber Music Category), Greece.” Recently Invitation: 8th Heinsberg International Guitar Festival/Competition, Germany (2019) 21st Rust International Guitar Festival/Competition, Austria (2019) 20th Szeged International Guitar Festival/Competition, Hungary (2019) 23rd Festival la Guitarras del Mundo, Argentina (2017) 7th Nordhorn International Guitar Festival/Competition, Germany (2017) 14th Seckau International Guitar Festival, Austria (2015) 4th Postojna International Guitar Festival, Slovenia (2015)
