Mikey Wax

On the morning of his graduation from Vanderbilt University, singer/songwriter Mikey Wax received a letter that took 20 years to get to him. It was written by his late grandfather, who requested the letter be handed down to Mikey when he was a young man ready to enter “the real world.” Inside were words of love and wisdom to make up for lost time that the two would never share together. Inspired by these words, Mikey knew he had to pursue his one true passion; music. A piano player and singer/songwriter all his life, Mikey returned home to New York to begin recording the songs he had written throughout his college years. The collection of songs resulted in his debut album titled Change Again, which quickly ranked on the iTunes top 100 pop albums chart due to strong word of mouth on social network sites like facebook, myspace, and youtube. The single "In Case I Go Again" was selected as the winner of The Unsigned Artist radio contest held by South Florida's leading top-40 station WRMF/97.9 FM, and has since been featured on several television shows including the hit CBS series "Ghost Whisperer". The music video for "In Case I Go Again" has also received 450,000 hits on YouTube since being featured on the homepage for their "Music Tuesday" spotlight.
