Let me hit you with something completely crazy! I have written and am recording 6 songs for my first album ever! Between all the different things that go into an album, I am going to need your help in raising $10,000 and making this become reality! For the past several years, I have become intensely involved in worshipping and leading others in worshipping Jesus Christ through music. I have been blessed in a huge way with these songs through quiet times I have had, and also digging into the Word with some very close friends. I feel called to, through the power of the Holy Spirit, lead God's people in worship through song. Music is such an awesome gift God has given us as a means to exalt His Name! My hope with these songs is to carefully and precisely match up what I am singing lyrically, with what God said in His Holy Word, not what I say. The album name is actually the title track called "Hope is Alive". With the economic recession, natural disasters, and social injustice, the message of hope is very relevant today. Regardless of religious belief or political stance, everyone needs to hear a glimmer of hope during some point in their life. We live in a dying world that is broken, and I serve a God that is alive and unshaken. Jesus is our Hope and I am anticipating what He will do in peoples lives with these songs. It says in Romans 8:24, "For in this HOPE we were saved. Now HOPE that is seen is not HOPE. For who HOPES for what he sees?" Hope is on the way, Hope is revealing Himself soon, Hope is Alive.
