拉脱维亚Heavy/Thrash Metal乐队，组建于2004年。简介：Since its foundation in 2004 heavy metal band “Relicseed” has gained a stable authority in Latvian metal scene and risen from underground band to an international act. Four talented and previously in various musical styles experienced musicians` extraordinary riffing, harmonies and musically different approach mixed with energetically fulfilled live performance creates the band`s signature which has been highly appraised by critics in their native Latvia as well as abroad."Relicseed`s” journey around the world started after their first album (“60 minutes of a dream”, DEC 3. 2010) release when at the beginning of 2011 an international booking agent offered the collaboration. While touring around Europe musicians received an opportunity to headline “Metallibash 2011: 3 Decades of Damage” – an event dedicated to “Metallica`s” 30th anniversary held in San Francisco, USA located bar “Kimo`s”. From this point forward the band`s path leads further in the USA.In 2012 “Relicseed” moved to Los Angeles based studio “Tranzformer Studios” and recorded their second studio album together with an engineer Bryan Carlstrom who also worked as a producer of the record. Carlstrom is known after his million worth collaboration with “Alice in Chains”, “The Offspring” and “Anthrax” to name just a few. Carlstrom`s passing away on January, 2013 positioned “Relicseed” as one of the last four bands the legendary engineer ever worked with and left the record unfinished. The sad situation led Latvians to collaboration with other professionals from the USA industry: the record was mixed by Dirk Kloiber at “Hybrid Sound Visions” (“Manowar”, “HolyHell”) and mastered by Maor Appelbaum at “Sounds with impact” (“Rob Halford”, “Sepultura”, “Anvil”, “Yngwie Malmsteen”).
