Sam & Margot met in the hills of Tuscany while studying physical theater. Sam Fuhrer was known for telling stories and playing football in high school but after traveling, learning how to meditate, and drinking auyausca he picked up his guitar and transitioned his stories to have more substance and a bit of poetry. Margot Bennett is a trained musical theater actress who discovered her love of songwriting when she picked up her violin for the first time in ten years after moving to New York City. Together they caught the attention of their renowned songwriter Simone Felice who agreed to produce their debut album with David Baron (Meghan Trainor.)
