Formerly released on Moon Records USA (cat no MR 071) and under the name of Venice Shoreline Chris back in 1996. This album has become a latter day "Trad Ska - Reggae" classic, ensuring Chris Murray almost legendary status within the scene. This European reissue has been packaged in it's original artwork although Chris himself has added some lyrics and liner notes. The CD also includes an enhanced video track for "Rock Steady". Recorded on 4 track by Chris Murray himself, and mixed in a friends basement, this "lo -fi" album sounds like it was recorded in Jamaica back in the early 1960's and has become the benchmark by which all new tradional Ska albums, and bands will be judged. Including the now classic live favourites "Rock Steady" "Ex-Darling", and "Bring Your Love to Me" it is easy to see why this album had become such a collectors item while unavailable, and why Chris Murray is now regarded as a Ska legend.
