即興創作決定了一位鋼琴手在鍵盤上所能馳騁的空間，透過排列音符的手法將情感轉化成可以閲讀的文章。鬱瑛的演奏有着相當獨特的靜謐與空間感，曲中畫面亦隨着情緒的轉換時而明亮、時而蒙矓，旋律鋪陳如內心戲般的深省內歛。整張專輯以獨奏和二重奏的形式做為主要原聲樂器配置，除了鋼琴的獨白外，鬱瑛與翼號 (Flugelhorn) 手 Alex Sipiagin 共同合奏的温馨小品，如鋼琴之神 Bill Evans 的原創〈Orbit (Unless It’s You)、Alex帶來的〈Little Dancer〉以及自創曲〈A Song For You, In April〉都是此專輯中不可錯過的抒情佳作。本專輯邀請曾為 Andre Previn, Whitney Houston, Sting, Herbie Hancock 等人效力過的葛萊美獎錄音工程師 Dave Darlington 擔任後製，讓專輯錄音聽起來更加真實細緻，猶如近場聆聽之感受。
