원곡 ‘4210301’은 1991년 015B 2집 [Second Episode]의 앨범의 1번 트랙이었던 곡입니다.

이 곡은 환경 오염을 주제로, 당시 사회적으로 높아진 환경문제에 대한 관심을 배경으로 만들어졌습니다. 그 당시 015B 멤버들 역시 환경 문제에 관심이 많아 ‘4210301’, ‘敵(적) 녹색인생’, ‘먼지낀 세상엔’ 등의 환경을 다룬 곡들을 발표했습니다.

환경문제는 오늘도 현재진행형이며, 일부는 당시보다 더 심각해졌습니다. 이번 리메이크가 환경에 대해 다시 생각하는 계기가 되었으면 합니다.

또한 이번 싱글의 2번 트랙에는 원곡의 감성을 그리워하는 팬들을 위해 원곡의 보컬인 정석원이 노래를 부른‘Original Ver.’을 함께 수록했습니다. 팬 여러분께 특별한 선물이 되길 바랍니다.
