由暴龍與三角龍組成的新興樂團「恐龍的皮」，以第一張作品〈Millions of Years Apart〉同時獲得金曲獎與金音獎的肯定，不但活躍於大港開唱、春浪等各大音樂祭，售票演出更是創下秒殺佳績。全新單曲〈Neck and Neck〉以復古Disco節奏、厚實爽快的合成器與朗朗上口的旋律唱着弱肉強食的恐龍故事。

從長脖子恐龍的視角出發，描述被成羣結隊且尖牙利爪的肉食恐龍追趕，以及勇敢面對恐懼的心路歷程。與製作人Crispy脆樂團的Skippy再次合作，打造屬於恐龍的皮獨特的聲響與詼諧。遠古的故事暗喻着現代人類內心的掙扎，亦步亦趨的焦慮與心魔有如甩不掉的獵食者，只有不怕留下傷疤才能找到共存的和平。

The Dinosaur’s Skin is a Jurassic-Pop duo consisting of band members Trex and Triceratops. Their first EP〈Millions of Years Apart〉achieved great success, being nominated for both Golden Melody Awards and Golden Indie Music Awards. With shows that sold out in seconds and major appearances in music festivals such as Megaport Festial and Spring Wave, The Dinosaur’s Skin’s new single <Neck and Neck> sets out to be another prehistoric adventure.

Told through the eyes of a long-necked dinosaur chased by clawed carnivores, <Neck and Neck> is a story about fighting your demons. Producer Skippy from the band Crispy creates the trademark sound of The Dinosaur’s Skin, with retro disco beat, fat synth bass and super catchy melody, this is a song to dance to, a song that puts up a fight.

成軍六千五百萬年，「The Dinosaur’s Skin恐龍的皮」終於發行第一張概念專輯《I Dig You》，除了字面上的「我挖掘你」，更是「我喜歡你、我理解你」的意思。

這張概念專輯是一趟考古挖掘之旅，帶領聽眾穿越時間與空間，將史前主題與現代思考巧妙結合。在暴龍、三角龍尋找世界上僅存恐龍的旅程中，牠們挖掘到的不僅止於考古文物，更多的是關於人類智慧的——孤單與自由、平等與多樣性、選擇與不可變性等概念，探索了關於身份認同、愛、與跨越族羣藩籬的包容與理解。恐龍與人類，雖然是不同的物種，但是透過共同的情感與經歷緊密相連。

聆聽整張專輯，也如同向下挖掘出層層不同的七彩礦物。專輯由金曲獎最佳演唱組合「Crispy脆樂團」主唱Skippy擔任專輯製作人，與來自世界各地的眾多優秀歌手、音樂人合作，包含金曲歌后「魏如萱waa wei」、美國德州另類衝浪搖滾樂團「Summer Salt」、美國破億神曲貓臉蒙面歌姬「Limbo」、曾入圍金曲最佳製作人的唱作人Everydaze、新生代金獎製作人鍾濰宇、新鋭編曲家趙宇晨、草東沒有派對現任鼓手鳥人、金曲樂團百合花鼓手陳奕欣；林宥嘉、魏如萱、脆樂團指定合作樂手王育嘉；以及來自奈及利亞、義大利、烏克蘭的優秀樂手們，橫跨獨立與主流，延續了樂團標誌性的獨立流行Indie Pop、夢幻流Dream Pop 和卧室流行風格Bedroom Pop，合成器交響與歪斜吉他，在復古音色與咆哮聲展現「The Dinosaur’s Skin恐龍的皮」多樣、多元的音樂風格，並融入了荒誕的幽默和深刻的哲思。

After 65 million years, The Dinosaur’s Skin is finally releasing their debut concept album, I Dig You. The title plays on the literal meaning of “digging” for fossils and dinosaurs, while also expressing the deeper sentiment of “I like you” and “I understand you.”

This concept album is like an archaeological journey, taking listeners on a voyage through time and space, seamlessly blending prehistoric themes with modern reflections. As the Trex and Triceratops search for the last remaining dinosaurs on Earth, they unearth more than just fossils—they discover insights into human wisdom: loneliness and freedom, equality and diversity, choice and inevitability. These timeless ideas explore identity, love, and the embrace of differences that transcend language, race and even species. Dinosaurs and humans may be different creatures, but they are bound together by shared emotions and experiences.

Listening to the album feels like uncovering layers of vibrant, multicolored minerals. Produced by Skippy, the lead vocalist of the Golden Melody Award-winning band Crispy, I Dig You brings together talented singers and musicians from Taiwan and abroad. This includes Golden Melody-winning singer waa wei, Texas-based indie surf rock band Summer Salt, and viral sensation Limbo, the cat-masked singer from the U.S. Blending indie pop, dream pop, indie rock, and bedroom pop, the album stays true to The Dinosaur’s Skin’s signature sound. With synthesizer symphonies, detuned guitars, retro soundscapes, and roaring vocals, this album is a playful yet profound exploration of the band’s eclectic and diverse musical style, infused with absurd humor and deep philosophy.

After the asteroid hit the Earth, the dinosaurs marched in the everlasting Cretaceous night. As their friends fall one by one, The Dinosaur’s Skin found out extinction was a slow and painful process, and eventually became the only ones left of their species. It was a desperate fight for survival, just like how our battle in the post-pandemic human world.  Step by step, slowly but surely, we will get there one way or another, together.
 
Before The Dinosaur’s Skin wandered into the modern world, before meeting Crispy and all of their human friends, this was where their story was suppose to end, but it was only the beginning.

以暴龍與三角龍的樣貌活躍於獨立音樂場景的新興樂團「恐龍的皮」，在發行首張EP後屢創佳績，先是以單曲〈Millions of Years Apart〉入圍第十二屆金音獎，隨後舉行的首次專場演出〈The滅絕〉更是擠滿The Wall，成為各大音樂節爭相邀約的對象。

全新合作單曲〈Take it Slow〉打破所有的預設框架，恐龍的皮首度與製作人Skippy的樂團Crispy共同創作及合唱，在Dream Pop、Lo-fi的歪斜聲響中創造更寬廣的音樂景深。恐龍的皮以英文演唱隕石落下後恐龍走向滅亡的路途、Crispy則以中文道出後疫情時代人類的冷漠與紛爭，在一樣為了生存的漫漫長路中，以截然不同的角度訴説恐懼、絕望、焦慮以及永遠的陪伴。

合聲特地邀請來自烏克蘭、加拿大、印度尼西亞等國家的聲音一起合唱，樂器更找來Everydaze、體熊專科吉他手包子、各大演唱會職業樂手Jack Ko、小潘錄製，為跨越時空、語言、曲風、國界、種族甚至是物種的合作。是開始，也是結束、是恐龍的故事、也是人類的故事，是最深淵的絕望、也是最堅定的希望，不管這條路多久多長，我們一起慢慢地走。

After releasing their debut EP “Millions of Years Apart”, The Dinosaur’s Skin, a band consisting of the last two remaining dinosaurs on Earth, achieved great musical success with their nomination of the Golden Indie Music Award and a packed concert at The Wall live house. 
With many appearances in music festivals, their energetic live shows and catchy sing-along songs propelled them to the forefront of the indie music scene. 

Their new single <Take It Slow> is a collaborative effort between The Dinosaur’s Skin and Crispy, an indie-pop duo from Taiwan who produced The Dinosaur’s Skin’s debut EP. With Crispy singing in Mandarin and Dinosaurs singing in English,  <Take It Slow> is a crossover that goes beyond language, genre species  and even race, featuring chorus vocals from all over the world including Ukraine, Indonesia and Canada.

A tale about extinction, desperation, fear and hope, told by dinosaurs and humans in their respective toungue, a song that will keep us warm in the longest of winters and give us love in the loneliness of the post-pandemic world. Dinosaurs and humans are not so different after all, and we will work it out together, one step at a time.
