自從Rock en Seine音樂節上Liam那驚人的一砸之後，諾大叔（Noel Gallagher）和萊大嘴（Liam Gallagher）的關係似乎已經不像前幾次那樣能夠修補回來了，兩人除了私下互相詆譭以外，開始個玩個的:諾大叔其實早在Oasis發行了'Dig Out Your Soul'後就有發個人專輯的打算；而Oasis主要人物曲作者諾大叔離隊後，萊大嘴把Gem Archer, Andy Bell加上鼓手Chris Sharrock召集起來另起爐灶Beady Eye。2010年9月他們開始了新專輯的錄製，並於11月15日發行了改頭換面後的第一支單曲Bring the Light。而由大牌製作人Steve Lillywhite操刀的新專輯Different Gear, Still Speeding將在2月23日在日本率先發行，隨後於28日在英國發行。
