Emmy the great是一支支年轻的新乐团，之前参加了大大小小的音乐节，累计了相当多的人气和演唱经验，获得了不少歌迷的追捧。他们的歌非常的生活化，大多的题材都来自于日常生活中的点点细节，甚至是一些琐碎的小事，他们的音乐简单，大方，清扬的吉他，流畅的钢琴，优美的和声，让人眼前一亮；Moss细腻的声音，悠扬婉转，显得格外的纯真和可爱。乐队女主唱原名Emma-Lee Moss,出生于香港,幼年移居英国伦敦,虽然生活教育背景都在国外,但还是有着那股子中国味,一幅可人的临家女孩模样.还有一首融合了Christian风格的歌曲,显得于众不同!

Recorded under the working name ‘Sleigher’ the duo recorded This Is Christmas in a snow bound Sussex last December and in, a not so festive, New York in May and is a much needed departure from the typical seasonal schmaltz cluttering office parties and high street shops during the period.

The songs feature seasonal odes to long lost loves you only see at the most wonderful time of the year and dedications to Mrs Christmas- “she must sit at home on Xmas Eve seething, ‘cos she’s on her own again” Emmy said.

There are secret plans afoot for a one-off Christmas show, and fans are invited to upload their Christmas pictures for the chance to have them included in the iTunes booklet for the release, which also features Bloc Party’s Matt Tong.
