I Got Rhythm collects 20 Bobby Darin songs of the pop-oriented variety, including "Fly Me to the Moon," "You Made Me Love You," and "Call Me Irresponsible." American Darin collectors will not have a need for this import that includes many widely anthologized tracks, replicating songs from Spotlight on Bobby Darin, Swingin' the Standards, and the box sets As Long As I'm Singing: The Bobby Darin Collection and The Capitol Years. I Got Rhythm is a genre collection, not a career overview. It contains a good group of Darin's "swing-jazz-Broadway-easy listening" songs, but nothing new for people owning the aforementioned compilations. (Some of these tracks were once unreleased but have been available stateside for years.) Newer fans should start with the four-disc As Long As I'm Singing if budget is not an issue (or if you want as much Darin as possible), while those on a budget should consider the broader greatest-hits collections Mack the Knife or Splish Splash.
