共生，交錯：記錄這個島嶼上蓬勃生長的生命現象 “盤”承載了落差草原WWWW成軍八年以來的生命累積，團員們各自以不同的視角，像是一起雕刻，探索着同一塊岩石，逐漸形塑出關於世界的獨特觀點和樣貌，團員們或身在新世界中探索，或像從空中俯瞰着一切，用像詩也像寓言般的口吻，記錄或者描述着災難，際遇，旅程，對應着真實也是幻象的瞬間。擅長迷幻，民謠，環境，實驗聲響等音樂元素，落差草原WWWW將其旺盛的創作力於本張專輯集大成，以雙鼓建構起不規則的節拍，樂器與聲響交織出更多維度的層次與情感，試圖梳理出我們心中某種屬於南島亞熱帶的韻律與思維。有別於以往較為故事性的敍事手法，專輯以更宏觀的視點演繹“盤”這個架空世界裏的空間，時間，狀態，事件等各種主題。“盤”以更成熟的敍事風格，同時也反映出台灣社會的現況與充滿混沌與獨特生命力的姿態，提出更深一層的反思，也訴説着無限的生命與輪迴。 Symbiosis & coalescence: Registering the flourishing life forms on this island The album (utensil or plate in Mandarin) contains the collection of life experiences in the eight years of formation of Prairie WWWW. Band members, each holds a different perspective, carved and explored the same piece of rock and from there shaped their unique take on the world. They explore the encompassing new world, gaze down from the sky, and with their poetry and fable-like language, they record and depict the disasters, the fates, the journeys that correspond the ephemeral yet authentic moments. Adept in wielding the psychedelic, folk, environmental and experimental elements, Prairie WWWW has reached their pinnacle of creative capacity in the album . By interweaving the irregular rhythms of double drum-kits, the instruments and sounds present multiple layers and emotions that Prairie WWWW believes resemble the pulses and thoughts that belong to a subtropical island. Unlike the narrative structure of linear storylines in their previous works, seeks to exhibit a more macroscopic view of a fantasy world and the various subjects therein: its space, time, condition and events. has a more mature narrative style that reflects the current state and the chaotic yet vigorous essences of contemporary Taiwanese society and further contemplates on the eternal cycles of life and transmigration.
