1.2k Followers现居加拿大的克南（K'naan）出生于索马里的艺术家庭。祖父哈吉穆罕默德是一个诗人，姐姐马谷尔（Magool）是索马里最有名的歌手。后来由于索马里内战导致局势恶化，13岁的柯南随家人移民美国然后辗转到加拿大。但他仍然时时心系索马里，克南创作的很多歌曲都和索马里局势相关。2006年，他赢得了朱诺奖说唱录音奖，和被提名为首届北极星音乐奖。在2007年他还赢得了英国广播公司颁发的世界音乐奖。
