Mandla Maphumulo is a South African artist and a producer from Umlazi, South Africa. Popular with the stage name Mampintsha, the artist is also the founder of the musical group Big Nuz, and made a name for himself in the country through his Kwaito hits which he has produced over the years. Mampintsha was born on the 18th of July 1982 and got married to Bongekile Selimane who is commonly known as “Babes Wodumo”. The couple took everyone by surprise by posting their picture on Instagram showing their wedding rings. Mampintsha Discography, Debut & Career Highlights Initially, Mampintsha was a part of Big Nuz formed by Mampintsh, Danger, and Masheshain in 2002. The group moved to Johannesburg for scoring a record deal and got an opportunity to perform a ji ngle on a television series, Backstage on TV which helped and the performance helped them into a recording contract. Later in 2004, the group worked with a Kwaito artist named Ishmael who featured the group in the song Boom Boom. In 2006, the group was signed by Gallo Records and dropped their debut album, titled “Zozo” by working with the likes of Kid Mokoena of Why Not Entertainment. In 2015, the group split and the artist pursued his solo career. Since then he has worked with his record label, named West Ink record label, and signed many record deals and artists from KwaZulu-Natal. The greatest one was “Babes Wodumo”. In 2016, they both also worked together on the hit track titled, Wololo which induced Babes' career to the top of the charts.
