King Monada Age, Life & Family Khelobedu singer Khutso Steven Kgatle was born 25 November 1992 at Ga-Mokgolobotho village, Limpopo. The artist famously recognized by his stage name King Monada. He is a South African singer, songwriter, and record producer while his music is glorified world-wide and has impressed South African music across the countries. Motivated by other Limpopo artists to sing in their native language, King Monada sings in Khelobedu Pedi languages, which are regional languages of Northern Sotho, owing to which he known as the king of Khelobedu house music. During childhood, the multi-talented artist went to Sebone Primary School and Mafutasane High School. He dropped out of school before completing grade 8 to proceed with his love for music. After the release of his single "Ska Bhora Moreki" King Monada rose to overnight fame. King Monada wife is Lerato Ramawela, and has two children named Temoso who is 8, and a boy named Junior. King Monada Debut, Musical Journey, and Hit Songs In 2005, King Monada commenced his career as a dancer, and years later, he recorded his first single Dolly My Love in 2010. Since then, there is never turning back he went on to give several hits and became a celebrated artist in the country. In 2016, he released Ska Bhora Moreki inspired by the times he used to perform in taverns. This was blockbuster hit on radio stations as the song expresses to respect those who support you during your rough time. In 2019, his latest single was released titled Benz featuring CK The Dj and Charmza and is a massive hit in South Africa. Today, he owns a music label - King Monada music and is an independent artist. His label supports young talents from Limpopo and give opportunity to them to create a career for them and take South African industry to the next level. In 2016, he won three 2016 FAME SA Awards which were held at Jack Botes Hall in Polokwane. He also won the prestigious rising fame awards in various categories like the Best Sepedi Artist, Best Dance Artist, and Entertainer of the year. In 2018, he walked away with three consecutive awards for Best KheloInbedu single, Song of the year, and Best duo/Group collaboration. Lately, he was recognised with the Best Male Artist Award at the Limpopo Music Awards (Limo), and his hit song Malwedhe won the title of Song of the Year.
