Langa Mavuso Langa Mavuso, born on 25 January 1994 in Diepkloof, Johannesburg, South Africa. His real name is Nkosinathi Nhlakanipho Mavuso. He is a popular singer, songwriter, and performer. He Did his schooling from the National School of the Arts. He studied contemporary music there. Later he went to Rhodes University where he completed his graduation Economics and politics. He also learned Jazz from the University of Cape Town. His parents are both singers due to which he generated his interest in music at a very early age. As a child, he used to participate in various choral competitions. He was also a part of the singing choir. He used to create a lot of music at a young age. His voice is flawed, husky as well as sweet. Mavuso’s work is mostly inspired by the events he experienced throughout his life. Many of his albums are based on different phases of love he experienced. His music is a lyrical narrative of urban African stories. He started recording his album in2016. His album, “Liminal Sketches” was about betrayal in love. All his tracks were dedicated to his love who died and found a ray of hope after her. The other EP, “Home” was also inspired by the breakup he faced. And the way he has gone through it. “Home” also established him as a popular and stronger singer in the South African Music Industry. Career, Awards, Achievements His EP “Home” was released under Redbull Studios. The singer has also performed with Spoek in 2012 at the very young age of 17 at the Brickfields Music Festival. He also played Sunday blues on iTunes. His musing is mesmerizing and captivating.
