A Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and entrepreneur Aubrey Drake Graham popular as Drake was born on October 24, 1986, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Drake is a prominent figure in popular music and is one of the artists who spread Toronto music to the industry. Drake first started his career in acting in 2001 when he debuted in the teen drama television series “Degrassi: The Next Generation” where he gained much attention although he still wanted to pursue his career in the music industry so he decided to leave the show in 2007 and released his debut mixtape ‘Room for Improvement’. This provided him with the spotlight and popularity of the music critics. Sooner he released his two further independent projects, ‘Comeback Season’ and ‘So Far Gone’ which also went on to become a huge hit and earned him tremendous appreciation worldwide. Due to the success of his mixtape and projects, he was signed by the ‘Young Money Entertainment’ in 2009.
