Brown Dash - Celebrated Kwaito Singer & Lyricist Siphiwe Mpamile is a Kwaito star popular with the stage name Brown Dash, the artist's work is stated as a fairytale. His fans and music fanatics will remember him as the unmasked face that sang beside Mzekezeke. Prior to his debut album, Brown Dash played a leading role in the award-winning album Izinja by Mapaputsi. He got his nickname Brown Dash owing to his love for brown car dashboards. Soon he rose to stardom, as his album went on to sell over 100,000 copies which were against all expectations in the music industry. Eventually, the album outsold innumerable albums by honored artists. Later it was nominated as the Best Kwaito Album at the 9th South African Music Awards (SAMA). Later in 2003, he worked with the renowned producer DJ Cleo for his first single Puff 'n Pass. His third album Dashboard was released in 2007, the artist performed at several events like the South African Music Awards and several music concerts attended by masses. Brown Dash was also a great lyricist and had written songs for eminent artists like Mdu, Bricks, Zola and Mzekezeke Brown Dash Death - Untimely Demise & Huge Loss Music Industry Unfortunately in 2012, Kwaito star died in Johannesburg's Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital. The Puff n Pass singer was admitted to the hospital owing to long term illness. His untimely death left his fans in tears worldwide, he received a lot of prayers from numerous artists and followers.
