Black Coast

Black Coast is the solo project of New York based artist / producer Stan Rapoport, previously the member of Prinze George. Rapoport is one of the best producers around when it comes to generating fresh electro-pop instrumentals, but without some female vocals atop, his tracks would definitely feel a bit incomplete. As it turns out, he decided to recruit M. Maggie, an artist who actually contributed to Black Coast’s aforementioned debut track, to lend her lovely croon once again, and the result of their efforts is an absolutely winning one. The debut single “TRNDSTTR” is a collaboration between Black Coast and M. Maggie - a New York poet and songwriter. Connected by a mutual friend, the two began working on the track entirely over phone, text and email, all before meeting each other in real life.
