In a haze under haven's gates

I wondered

To find my peace

Where birds return to nest

As my feet dared to creep roads of purple

The moon and stars

Set fire to crimson leaves

Some people thrive here

Some people die here

All come to achieve the Chinese dream

I lay to rest here

On your crimson breast dears

Amidst a crowd of golden stars
