Gotay

Gotay was born in Brooklyn N.Y. on June 22, 1985 to Puerto Rican parents, he's the youngest of six siblings and a native of Yauco. At age 12 Gotay went to live in Bayamon P.R. where his father are originally from. His parents raised him in a Latin atmosphere, they listened to the genre of salsa, while Gotay grew up with the underground (reggaeton at that time), his brothers were in full motion and they took him to the parties. One of his hobbies was baseball, basketball player, volleyball, bowling and playing sports. Gotay never thought he would become an urban music artist, and didn't imagined loving everything having to do with music. It all started when one day Gotay was invited to a party marquee in high school one of my buddies (friends) in the party was a DJ and Gotay began to improvise, thus awakened him and the desire to sing initiated from that instant, as well as writing songs. One day Gotay visited a recording studio, there were several beats he made a theme, with slowly recordings and showing his to producers where he decided to take a course in sound engineering. He learned previously had thought himself to use the programs to record vocals and that's also how he started working with new producers until I he met Ñengo Flow where after a few months they were of touring in Puerto Rico and selling out concerts.
