Canadian singer/songwriter Scotty James is making waves this summer during his “Wanna Be Loved Summer Beach Tour” in support of his highly anticipated first EP ‘Crazy.’ Scotty James has taken his music from the porches of his hometown to quickly winning the hearts of fans and industry people alike. Scotty’s first singles “Miss You Good” and “Wanna Be Loved” can be heard on major radio stations across Canada. This young emerging artist has what it takes to follow the footsteps of acclaimed artists like John Mayer and Train. Keep your ears on the radar, Scotty James is a name you will hear more of in the future. I’m an acoustic singer songwriter that went door-to-door serenating people at their front doors in hopes of raising money to produce my first Album. In August 2010, I knocked on a door that happened to belong to a guy that runs a music company. Oblivious to this, I played one of my original songs “Wanna Be Loved” and he loved it. He not only became my manager, he covered most of the funds I needed to kickstart my music career. In less than eight months of me going door-to-door, one of my videos went viral and two of my songs from this album got added to major radio rotation across Canada. As my late nana said “Look within you, and you will discover that you have everything it takes to make all of your dreams come true”. I look forward to living out the rest of my story with my friends, fans, and guitar.
