Heimstatt Yipotash

heimstatt yipotash are coming from dresden, eastern germany. we are making electronic music in solo projects under different names since the early 90s. since late 90s "heimstatt" and "yipotash" established for the solo works. 2001 both projects united in "heimstatt yipotash" and did various live gigs what resulted in a self released live album called "fm excess". in late 2004 we signed to the well known german indie label "hands productions". finally in early 2006 the album "storegga effect" had been released and got good feedback. since october 2007 our second album "perpetual beta" is available, once again including a weird but working mixture of stomping rhythm noise tracks, ill sound experiments and crazy sample stuff. in march 2008 we released an all free online mp3 minialbum called "landslide" on our homepage. this release contains more "ambient" styled songs resuming the base themes of our 2006 album release "storegga effect". this release got good critics at several online media and from varius listeners all over the world. you can find a lot more information, cover designs and the download of course atour special website. for 2009 there are two big projects in our pipeline: first thing to be released will be a split-cd with the german rhythm noise act takhtahk which will surround a collective live gig at elektroanschlag 10 festival in april. second thing is our third studio album with the actual working title "urban night motifs". this release is scheduled for the second half of 2009, again at hands productions. some song snippets and further info will come! check out our upcoming live gigs to get in a close touch with the quite special thing that heimstatt yipotash makes out of "normal" rhythm noise...
