David Guetta再度联手Ava Max发行新单，采样Alphaville同名热单《Forever Young》,现场演出视频同天释出。

DREAMSCAPES IS BACK - REVISITED! Viele Songs der ausverkauften Alphaville Anthology Box sind endlich wieder erhältlich. 1999 wurde die Alphaville Anthology Dreamscapes veröffentlicht. Diese streng limitierte Box enthielt neben unzähligen Demoversionen, unbekannten Remixen auch sämtliche B-Seiten und bandinterne Experimente und reflektierte die Schaffensperiode 1978 bis 1998. Kein einziger der dort veröffentlichten Songs war bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt in dieser Form herausgebracht worden. Die Anthology Box war innerhalb kurzer Zeit ausverkauft und erlangte schnell Kultstatus. Um heutzutage noch ein Exemplar zu bekommen, müssen Fans tief in die Tasche greifen. "Für uns war es von Anfang an klar, dass es keine identische Neuauflage der Dreamscapes geben wird," sagt Alphaville Sänger Marian Gold "wir haben unseren Fans versprochen, dass sie mit der Box ein Unikat erhalten, das nie wieder aufgelegt werden wird." Forever Young was a tough act to follow, but the boys from Munster deliver and then some with "Afternoons." The album combines powerful melody, synthesizer mastery, classical influence, and SOUL -- a combination that blows away all other synth bands, and, for that matter, all other bands. Few albums contain such diversity of styles, yet remain whole throughout.


This album was my absolute most favorite for around ten years until only recently. The break away from the traditional 80's techno-pop sound in their previous albums is very noticeable and refreshing. The lyrics sound like poetry, not the characteristic whining of today's alternative. From the jazzy Summer Rain, to the mellow neo-swing sound of Anyway, more than five years ahead of it's time; the fantastic, without being obnoxious, electric guitar solo of Blacky Schwarz Ruszczynski on Romeos, and the laudable attempt to emulate 50's rockabilly on Ariana. I fell in love with it the first time I heard it, but even if you don't, it will still grow on you. One of the few albums I have where every song actually sounds different. This is the one by Alphaville that shouldn't have to be imported.
