Carl Fanini

Carl Fanini was born in New York where he spent his childhood, he immediately became influenced by black and soul music, he then moved to Italy when he was twelve. In 1991 he joined Media Records and soon achieved success thanks to the single "Ride Like The Wind" which launched East Side Beat on the international market, selling over a million copies and reaching the first position of the charts in France and United Kingdom where it won a silver record for sales of over 200,000 copies! The following year he became involved in another successful project, Club House: from 1992 to 1996 Carl became the leader of successful singles like "Take Your Time", "Light My Fire", "Living In The Sunshine", "Nowhere Land" and "All By Myself" with which he obtains an overwhelming success, both in Italy and abroad, with appearances on TV and international tours: he even takes part as a guest at the Festivalbar in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Non è la Rai with Ambra in 1995! The experience in Media Records is followed by that with DJ Movement in which Carl gets back on the spotlight thanks to "Disco Fever", along with production team of Music Mind, which in Italy sold over 15,000 copies in 1997. Many other collaborations with various artists follow such as GABRY Ponte, Fargetta, Mauro Picotto, Alex Gaudino, Nari & Milani, Provenzano, Pagany & Arduini etc., who guarantee the singer a constant supply of new energy and inspiration. Carl has never stopped singing in his live performances expressing himself at his best with his music, especially in the acoustic version. The ballad “Ode to Love” is the new single released on the Distar label the 14th Feb 2021.
