RUNG HYANG, a singer and soul writer who transcends a wide range of genres including jazz, hip-hop, soul, and folk, will release his long-awaited new album, "MOMENT" her first in seven years, on April 2nd ahead of his spring Billboard Live tour. In addition to the singles released since last year, such as "Lele-lo," which combines a 0s sweet soul-like chorus with a trap-like beat, the ballad "Part of me," which sings about parting with a loved one and "seeing them off," the mid-tempo tune "Life is vintage" with the theme of aging, and the up-tempo "Bounce up all the time," which takes on the popular South African music genre "Amapiano," The album includes 9 tracks in total, including "MOMENT", a cheerful disco boogie produced by Tomokazu Matsuzawa (T.O.M) that brings to mind a sparkling mirror ball; "week by week", a sweet song created with Shingo.S that savors the preciousness of "walking together through everyday life that exists as a matter of course" in a vintage Y2K neo-soul sound world; "Uri Ariran", which he wrote about his roots as a third-generation Korean living in Japan and was produced in his first collaboration with Mori Zentaro; and "Trapped (Kan Sano Remix)" and "Someone I Hate - Taku Takahashi Remix", popular remixes that caused a buzz last year. The next EP, "CLASSIC," is an attempt to reexamine "Roots" in a different sense, and it is a work that makes you stand up straight and take a deep look at your own perceptions.
