On JOOX, you can listen to any radio on demand, search top charts quickly, shuffle any recommended songs, add favorite songs, and enjoy other stellar services. JOOX is a good start for your music journey!

If you play JOOX on non-Wi-Fi networks, you may be charged for data consumption by your provider. But don't worry, JOOX provides Non-Wi-Fi Network Alert and other similar functions to remind you of that.

Do data consumption occur when I listen to music on JOOX?

Auto-Download is only available to JOOX VIP. Open the desired playlist and enable "Auto Download". JOOX will download music in the playlist automatically when you're using Wi-Fi.

How do I check JOOX VIP's effective time?

You can view the expiration information of your VIP on MY MUSIC or click your profile photo to view its remaining days.

Why I can't use my VIP service after payment?

This may be due to network issues. In such case, you shall log out of JOOX and log in again to operate as instructed, then VIP service will be available.

What is newbie task and is there any VIP award for my completion of this task?

Newbie task is a quick start guide designed to instruct new users to get started with JOOX. You can get VIP for free after you finish this task.

Newbie task is as follows:

1. Follow JOOX WeChat ID (WeChat ID: JOOXMY)

Why I don't get my VIP award after finishing newbie task?

After you finish your newbie task, JOOX will reward you with VIP in 24 hours and send a tip to remind you of that.

Can I import songs from my phone to JOOX?

Yes. You can import all downloaded songs and songs from iTune to JOOX.

You can allow JOOX to scan your local music on "MY MUSIC -> All Songs -> Local" or click the scan icon on the top right. After your local songs are imported, they are sorted according to Track, Artist and Album.

WeChat is a chat-based mobile application that provides quick messaging service and multi-user voice call. JOOX is linked with WeChat, so WeChat users can log into JOOX quickly without signing up.

What functions can I enjoy when I log into JOOX with my WeChat ID?

"Favorites"--You add your favorite songs and playlist with one tap. It has never been easier!

"My Playlists"--You can create your own playlists and customize them with your favorite songs. It's such a pleasure!

What're the benefits of linking an account?

VIP purchased as a guest can only be accessed on the device you used to buy it. With accounts linked, you can access VIP on any other devices.

Will my playlist data lose if I log into JOOX on another device?

If you log into JOOX with your WeChat account, your playlist data will be saved on our cloud library. Therefore, when you log into JOOX on another device with the same WeChat ID, your previous playlist data will be synced automatically.

Where can I select online streaming quality?

You can select your desired sound quality on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> Streaming Quality", and change other settings on the same page based your demand.

VIP users can choose "High" sound quality on Wi-Fi to enjoy exclusive CD-sound music online.

Where can I select download quality?

You can select your desired sound quality on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> Download Quality". The "Standard" download quality (3M-4M per track) is set for this option by default.

Please be noted that offline listening is one of the five JOOX VIP benefits.

How do I turn off network data alert?

You can turn off network data alert on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> Non-Wi-Fi Network Alert". If turned off, you will not be notified of data consumption.

You can turn off non-Wi-Fi network alert on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> Download via Wi-Fi Only". If turned off, you will not be notified of data consumption.

Please be cautious with this operation as streaming or downloading music on your data network may incur charges.

How do I change my language settings?

JOOX provides multiple language options for your language settings. You can change it on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> Language".

How can I upgrade my JOOX version?

When a new JOOX version is released, you will be informed by upgrade tips. After you confirm it on JOOX, you will switch to App Store/Google Play for upgrade.

If you want to upgrade it manually, you can see the current version on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> About JOOX". If there is any new version, click the version number to switch to App Store/Google Play. However, If your current version is the latest one, you will see a pop-up saying "You are using the latest version of JOOX.".

How can I write a feedback or suggestion to JOOX?

Where can I see my memory usage on JOOX?

You can view image and offline song storage on "MY MUSIC -> Settings -> About JOOX -> Clear Data".

If you want to free up memory used by images, you can click "Clear Image Cache" and confirm your operation to reclaim storage.

If you want to clear offline songs, you can disable the Auto-Download function on MY MUSIC -> My Playlists.

How do I play songs, albums or playlists?

Non-VIP users can select their favorite songs and albums by clicking Shuffle Play. However, VIP users can shuffle songs with on tap and play their liked songs on demand.

If you are not on the play page, you can also select the Play and Stop operations on the Minibar below.

Can I skip songs quickly?

You can skip songs on the play page or by pressing and releasing the vinyl record icon on the left corner.

What top charts does JOOX offer?

You can view all top charts and play your favorite hit parades on "DISCOVER" -> ">>" in the right part of "JOOX Top Charts".

What is the ranking basis of JOOX Top Charts?

JOOX Top Charts are based on the amount of active users. On JOOX, you can listen to hit parades from your local region, Korean, European and American area, and other regions. You won't miss any new and hit songs.

What is Recommended?

Recommended refers to playlists created by JOOX Editor Team to tailor your taste, which involve different music themes and moods. You can listen to good music without doing any further selection.

On the DISCOVER page, you can click the ">>" icon on the right part of Recommended to view all recommended songs and play your favorite songs.

What is JOOX Radio?

JOOX Radio provides easy-to-play programs. You can enjoy your liked music here and immerse yourself with lyrical melody.

How do I find my previous radios?

JOOX record your history of playing radios. When you want to listen to the same radio again, you can view your previous ones on RADIO -> Recent.

How do I search my favorite artists, albums or songs?

On the DISCOVER page, you can enter artists, albums and songs on the search box and click "Search" to find relevant results.

Why I can't find my searched artists, albums or songs?

You shall check whether your search key words are the right ones. Correct key words can help you find your results more accurately.

Can I import songs from my phone to JOOX?

Yes. You can import all downloaded songs and songs from iTune to JOOX.

Can I add my favorite songs and listen them later?

Can I add my favorite playlists or top charts?

You can add your favorite playlist to My Playlists by clicking the star icon below.

How do I delete favorite songs?

You can delete your offline songs on MY MUSIC -> "...", and confirm your deletion.

How do I create my own playlists?

You can create new playlists on "MY MUSIC -> My Playlists -> "..." -> Create a new playlist", and enter a name for it.

Or you can do that when playing or saving songs on the playlist or play page.

How do I delete playlists?

You can delete your selected unwanted playlist on "MY MUSIC -> ... -> Edit playlist", and click the "-" red icon on the top right.

Please note that, all downloaded and saved songs in this playlist will be deleted.

What is offline listening?

Auto-Download is one of the VIP benefits. After VIP users enable the Auto-Download function, JOOX will download their favorite playlists and songs automatically on Wi-Fi.

How do I download music for offline listening?

You can download your favorite songs (or create a new playlist) by clicking the "..." button on the right part of the songs on the album or playlist page.

You can download your favorite songs (or create a new playlist) by clicking the download button below on the play page.

How do I download the whole playlist?

On the "DISCOVER" page,you can download songs to be played offline later by clicking the download icon below, and then the whole playlist will be downloaded to My Playlists.

You can enable Auto-Download on the MY MUSIC page and select your playlists to download them.

Do downloaded songs require memory?

Yes, downloaded songs takes up memory on your phone. You can view their storage usage on MY MUSIC -> Settings -> About JOOX -> Clear Data.

If you want to clear offline songs in cache, please disable the Auto-Download function in the playlist page. Favorite songs will be cleared to reclaim memory. However, you can still enjoy them online.

How do I delete downloaded songs?

You can delete your downloaded songs on "MY MUSIC -> ...", and confirm your deletion.

Or you can delete and add your unwanted songs in batch by clicking the edit button on the Downloaded Songs page.

Will JOOX be closed when it runs in the background?

If you don't play songs on JOOX, JOOX will be closed 10 minutes after running in the background. We suggest you shall keep songs playing on JOOX when you use it, so that your experience won't compromise.

How do I share songs?

You can click the "..." button on right part of songs on the album or playlist page (or the "..." button below on the play page), and select your desired social platform . After sharing, you can return to JOOX.

How do I buy JOOX VIP?

You can buy JOOX VIP on " MY MUSIC -> Settings -> Purchase VIP". You can select the VIP option that suits your needs.

How do I check JOOX VIP's effective time?

This may be due to network issues. In such case, you shall log out of JOOX and log in again to operate as instructed, then VIP will be available.
